Pros

  • It does one narrow job properly: outlier detection across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, a transcript and a hook/structure breakdown for each video, and a script generated from the patterns rather than from a blank prompt
  • Outliers are scored against the creator's own baseline and shown as a multiplier badge, so what is beating the field is the idea rather than the account's existing fame — a far better signal than raw view count
  • Of the three script modes — Original, Finisher and Fixer — the last two add no outside research, so the model will not import facts into a doctor's or a lawyer's script
  • Collections — 105 curated sets of pre-analyzed outlier videos (22 formats, 30 editing styles, 47 visual hooks, 6 signature series) — cost no credits and are open on every plan including Starter, so you can judge the analysis quality before you pay anything
  • The MCP connector feeds your research into Claude, with a five-step public walkthrough and a documented connector URL (https://mcp.sandcastles.ai/), so research and writing happen in one conversation
  • Credit price falls as you climb: $0.49 a credit on Pro monthly down to $0.266 on Titan annual, a 46% reduction — the opposite of the inverted ladders common in this category
  • The annual discount is honest — 20.4% on Pro, 20.2% on Visionary, 20.0% on Titan against a "save 20%" badge, and the page loads on monthly, not annual
  • Cancellation is documented and not punitive: access runs to the end of the billing cycle, with no termination fee and no clawback — and there is a real corporate counterparty behind it, Digital Supply Co, LLC of Delaware, with a published Sacramento address and support@sandcastles.ai

Cons

  • The headline sells "create viral short-form videos in seconds" and the product does not record, edit, caption, render or publish video at all — you still buy the entire production stack elsewhere
  • The Terms of Service refuse every refund: "All sales are final", for any reason including non-use — a harder line than the 14-day-and-unused rule most tools in this catalogue publish, which makes the 7-day trial the only exit (and it auto-converts)
  • That 7-day trial is documented nowhere by the vendor: not in the Terms, not in the FAQ, and the page's three "Try It Risk-Free" buttons all point at href="#"
  • A fourth plan, Starter, is named in the MCP page and the Collections FAQ but is missing from the pricing table, so the cheapest way in is the one tier with no published price
  • No page publishes what a credit buys: the FAQ names the three consuming actions — analysing videos, writing scripts, running reports — and gives no rate for any of them, so "100 credits a month" cannot be converted into work before you pay
  • The rating is not checkable: the homepage's "4.92 / 5 Rating" names no platform, gives no review count and has no aggregateRating in the page source, while "Trusted by 100k+ users" and "100k+ creators and brands" are unaudited first-party claims and the only independent score is Toolsplorer's 5.0/10 from a single Reddit thread with 2 upvotes and no comments

Pricing

Starter

Not published named in the vendor's own documentation but absent from the pricing table

  • The MCP page says the connector is available on Pro, Visionary and Titan, and that "on Starter, upgrade first under Settings → Subscription"
  • The Collections FAQ answers "which plans include Collections?" with "All of them… Starter, Pro, Visionary, Titan"
  • Neither its price, its credit allowance, its channel limit nor its refresh rate appears anywhere on the public site

Pro

$39 per month billed yearly ($49/month month-to-month); 100 credits a month

  • Personal analytics, deep-dive content strategy audits on your channels, and a custom curated feed of competitor research
  • MCP connector for Claude; verify up to 3 channels with a 12 hour refresh
  • 3 workspaces, tracking up to 150 competitors per workspace
  • The annual rate is 20.4% below the monthly rate, against a badge that promises a flat 20%

Visionary

$79 per month billed yearly ($99/month month-to-month); 250 credits a month

  • Everything in Pro, with 5 verified channels on a 6 hour refresh
  • 5 workspaces, tracking up to 250 competitors per workspace
  • Marked Popular on the pricing table; the same 20.2% annual saving as the rest of the ladder

Titan

$399 per month billed yearly ($499/month month-to-month); 1,500 credits a month

  • API access, which no other tier includes — and for which no rate limits, endpoint list or overage pricing is published
  • 20 verified channels on a 1 hour refresh, 20 workspaces, and guest access for agencies
  • Cheapest credit of the ladder at $0.266 each, but the most expensive channel at $19.95 each

Who it is for

  • Creators who already shoot and edit, and whose bottleneck is deciding what to make next — the outlier-to-script loop is the whole product, and it is where the tool is strong
  • Anyone who wants a data layer over competitor research instead of scrolling feeds by hand: outliers measured against each creator's own baseline, with transcripts and hook breakdowns attached
  • Expert-led creators — doctors, lawyers, consultants — because Finisher and Fixer rewrite your material without importing outside facts
  • Social teams and agencies running several niches at once, who need workspaces, verified-channel analytics and a per-client research feed
  • Teams already working inside Claude, where the MCP connector removes the copy-paste step between research and writing
  • Buyers who want to verify the analysis quality at zero cost first: the 105 Collections sets consume no credits and are browsable and exportable on every plan
  • Buyers who can plan a year of volume: annual is 20.4% below monthly on Pro, and the page defaults to showing the cheaper monthly commitment
  • Anyone who will read the no-refund clause before paying — which is the only protection this product offers

Alternatives

Brazilian video hosting from $17.90 a month with forensic DRM watermarking, an anti-download player and AI built into the player — the AI metered separately at US$0.20 a credit.

4.1 4.1 out of 5
Starting price: $17.90 per month for Bronze on the dollar price list; there is no annual plan, and instead of a free tier there is a 14-day trial capped at 100 GB of bandwidth

Best for: Course and infoproduct sellers who have had material pirated and need forensic watermarking plus an anti-download player rather than a general-purpose host — note that anti-download starts at Gold

Captions in 95 languages from $8 a month billed yearly, with a free tier that needs no card, 120 credits and a $1.99 seven-day plan. The credit rate card is published: captions run at 2 credits a minute.

4.1 4.1 out of 5
Starting price: $0 the free tier is real but capped at 1 minute per video; paid plans start at $8/month billed yearly ($9.99 monthly) for Pro, and there is a $1.99 seven-day offer in the vendor's own price data

Best for: Creators who caption a lot of video in one language and want the cheapest documented route to it - $8 a month billed yearly works out at about $0.053 per captioned minute at the vendor's own rate

A multi-model video and image studio from $12.00 a month billed yearly — Kling, Sora, Veo, Seedance and GPT Image behind one subscription, with the per-model credit rates on the pricing page and a refund window that ends at 50 credits.

3.9 3.9 out of 5
Starting price: $0 the free tier is 20 credits once, no card required; paid plans start at $12.00/month billed annually ($15.00 billed monthly) for Lite, and every paid tier is billed either monthly or annually with a published annual discount

Best for: Marketers and creators who want several frontier models — Veo, Sora, Kling, Seedance — behind one subscription instead of four, and who will buy monthly so the exit stays open
