Pollo AI Review 2026: The Refund Dies at 50 Credits

3.9 /5
3.9 3.9 out of 5

Our verdict

Pollo AI is worth buying, and its strengths can all be checked on the spot. $12.00 a month billed yearly buys 400 credits, which is about $0.03 a credit; on the page's cheapest video model (Pollo 2.5 720P at 5 credits per five seconds) that is 80 five-second clips a month, roughly $0.15 a clip — a very low unit price for generative video. The catalogue is genuinely wide: Kling 3.0, Sora 2, Veo 3, Seedance 2.5, MiniMax H3, Wan 3.0 and GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana Pro, Seedream 5.0 and Midjourney V8.2 all sit behind one subscription and one interface, and 'Access to all models' is printed on the cheapest paid tier rather than reserved for the top one. The per-model credit rates are on the pricing page instead of buried in a help centre, and the numbers survive division — Lite's 'up to 80 videos / 400 images' are 400 ÷ 5 and 400 ÷ 1 at the cheapest model of each kind, and Pro's 160/800 and Ultra's 1,000/5,000 divide the same way. Every paid tier includes watermark-free output, Pollo MCP access and a real number of parallel task slots (2, 3 and 6), some models carry genuine unlimited generation — GPT Image 1.5, Nano Banana and Grok Imagine Image on 365-DAY UNLIMITED — and the vendor publishes its own definition of the word. Ownership of the output is stated in plain words in section 5.1 of the contract. The public record is thick as well: 4.3 from 5,480 Trustpilot reviews with 97% of negative reviews answered, and 4.47 from 12,973 App Store ratings. What to know before you order is the exit: refunds last three days and end once more than 50 subscription credits are used (12.5% of a Lite month), add-on packs are never refundable, unused credits never roll over, the '50% OFF' annual badge is exact on Pro only (Lite 20.0%, Ultra 23.3%), and 'unlimited' is four conditions that the vendor itself documents — one 10-day campaign was narrowed after purchase once already. Bottom line: buy monthly until you know it fits, price your actual model rather than the card, and read the refund page before you pay.

  • Price: $12.00 a month billed yearly on Lite ($144.00/year), $14.50 on Pro and $99.00 on Ultra; the free tier is 20 credits once, with no card
  • What it does well: per-model credit rates are printed on the pricing page, $12.00 buys 400 credits (about $0.03 each, roughly $0.15 a clip on the cheapest video model), every paid tier includes watermark-free output, MCP access and 2/3/6 parallel tasks, and some models carry genuine unlimited generation with the vendor publishing its own definition
  • What to know first: refunds last three days and end at 50 subscription credits used (12.5% of a Lite month), add-ons are never refundable, unused credits expire monthly, the 50% annual saving is exact on Pro only, and support scores 3 because of the billing and cancellation complaints around a restrictive policy

Pollo AI is a genuine multi-model studio — Kling 3.0, Sora 2, Veo 3, Seedance 2.5 and MiniMax H3 sharing one prompt box with GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana Pro and Midjourney V8.2 — from $12.00 a month billed yearly for 400 credits, about $0.03 a credit, with 5,480 Trustpilot reviews at a TrustScore of 4.3 behind it. The rate card is published and the plan cards' headline counts survive division. What to know before you order is the exit: refunds end after three days and more than 50 subscription credits used — 12.5% of one Lite month.

Pollo AI is an all-in-one AI video and image studio operated by COCOSOFT TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD., a Singapore company at 101 Thomson Road, #28-03A, United Square. It is an aggregator rather than a model builder: one subscription puts the frontier video and image models behind a single prompt box, with an Agent for ad-style videos, a mobile app, an MCP server, a CLI and a public API. Paid plans start at $12.00 a month billed annually for 400 credits, and the independent record is large: 5,480 Trustpilot reviews at a TrustScore of 4.3 and an iOS listing at 4.47 from 12,973 ratings. The one thing to know before anything else sits on a different page from the price. The refund policy allows three days, only for subscription credits, and ends the moment you have used more than 50 subscription credits:

“If you have used more than 50 subscription credits, you are not eligible for a refund, regardless of the time since purchase.”

On Lite that is 12.5% of one month’s allowance: two Seedance 2.5 480P generations at 30 credits each and the refund is gone. Add-on packs are not refundable at all, an approved refund may be reduced by a fee of up to 6%, and unused plan credits never roll over. Everything here was read first-hand on 28 September 2026 from Pollo AI’s own pricing page, refund policy, Terms and Conditions, FAQ and unlimited explainer, and from the Trustpilot and Apple App Store public records. No account was created and nothing was generated, so nothing below is a claim about output quality — the numbers are the vendor’s and the contract quotes are its own wording.

pollo.ai denominates by region: read from a Japanese connection the same list appears in yen (Lite at ¥2,344 monthly against ¥1,876 billed annually) at identical ratios. Prices exclude VAT, and each of the two higher cards carries a credit slider — Pro between 800, 2K and 3K credits, Ultra between 5K, 8K and 12K. The free tier is real but it is not an allowance: 20 credits, once, no card — four five-second clips or twenty images.Current plan pricing is on the Pollo AI site.

What it does well

The price is genuinely low, and it sits on a number you can multiply out yourself. $12.00 a month billed yearly buys 400 credits, about $0.03 a credit — on the page’s cheapest video model that is roughly $0.15 for a five-second clip.

The catalogue is real and wide, and it is all behind the cheapest paid tier. Kling, Sora 2, Veo 3, Seedance 2.5, MiniMax H3, Wan 3.0 and Hailuo for video; GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana Pro, Seedream 5.0, Midjourney V8.2 and Flux 2 Max for images — on one subscription, behind one interface, with “Access to all models” printed on Lite rather than reserved for the top plan.

The per-model credit rates are on the pricing page rather than buried in a help centre, and the numbers survive division. Lite advertises “up to 80 videos /month” and “up to 400 images /month”: 400 ÷ 5 = 80 and 400 ÷ 1 = 400, both at the cheapest model of each kind and both correct; Pro’s 160/800 and Ultra’s 1,000/5,000 divide the same way. A buyer can compute a month before subscribing rather than reverse-engineering it afterwards.

Every paid tier gives you what you need to actually work. Watermark-free output, access to Pollo MCP, and a real number of parallel task slots — 2 on Lite, 3 on Pro, 6 on Ultra — plus some models carrying genuine unlimited generation rather than an allowance: GPT Image 1.5, Nano Banana and Grok Imagine Image are labelled “365-DAY UNLIMITED” on Lite and Pro.

What it promises in writing, it writes down. Ownership of the output is stated in plain words in section 5.1 of the contract, the vendor publishes its own definition of “unlimited” and the conditions attached to it, the operating entity matches across the contract and the App Store, and checkout accepts nine payment methods. Marketing that can be checked is worth more than marketing that cannot.

The refund window closes after 50 credits

Do the division against the plan you would actually buy, and the window is smaller than three days sounds:

PlanCredits/month50 credits isWhat 50 credits buys at the vendor’s own rates
Lite40012.5% of one month10 images on Nano Banana 2, or two Seedance 2.5 480P clips (30 each)
Pro8006.3% of one month10 five-second Pollo 2.5 720P clips, or one Nano Banana Pro image plus change
Ultra5,0001.0% of one month50 images on GPT Image 2, or 10 five-second clips on the cheapest video model

On the cheapest plan, two attempts at the newest video model end your refund rights — before you have watched either clip. And the refund is not the only thing gated on credits:

“Refund requests are only applicable to subscription credits and must be made within 3 days of your purchase. For add-on credits, we cannot process any refund requests.”

“Tip: Please note that add-on credits are non-refundable.”

Those packs cannot be refunded under any circumstances, including at the moment of purchase, and an approved refund can still be reduced:

“Please note that the refund amount may be subject to a processing fee not exceeding six percent (6%) of the initial payment, and that add-on credits are not refundable.”

Unused credits do not roll over — the FAQ answers that under the pointed title “Why did my credits disappear?”:

“Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle. Your plan credits will reset at the start of each new billing cycle.”

And the contract sets the general position more absolutely than the refund page:

“All fees paid for the Service are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Pollo.ai may, at its sole discretion, provide refunds or credits in specific circumstances.”

The reliable exit is to use the product less than 50 credits’ worth, or not to buy a year.

The annual badge is 50% on one tier out of three

The billing toggle is labelled “Annual / 50% OFF”, and 50% is real only in the middle of the range. The struck-through figure on each card is that tier’s monthly price, which makes the claim a subtraction:

TierBilled monthlyBilled annuallyReal annual saving
Lite$15.00$12.0020.0%
Pro$29.00$14.5050.0%
Ultra$129.00$99.0023.3%

Pro’s card is also the only one carrying a “Flash Sale 50% Off” badge. The other large figure on the page, “Up to 60% off”, is attached to the “Access to Pollo MCP” feature row on all three paid cards and is not a plan discount at all. The annual plans include no bonus credits: every annual allowance is exactly twelve times the monthly one — 400 × 12 = 4,800, 800 × 12 = 9,600, 5,000 × 12 = 60,000 — so a year buys twelve months of credits and a price cut, and nothing else ($36.00 on Lite, $174.00 on Pro, $360.00 on Ultra). Whether locking in is worth it depends on two clauses. Section 7.1 of the Terms and Conditions: “Pollo.ai reserves the right to change its fees and billing methods at any time upon notice to you.” And cancelling late is not neutral:

“Cancellation requests must be submitted before the next billing date. Failure to do so will result in a charge for the next billing period, and this charge is non-refundable.”

“No partial refunds or prorated credits will be issued for unused time, mid-cycle cancellations, or subscription downgrades under any circumstances.”

So the toggle’s honest reading is “up to 50%, and 20% where the cheapest tier is standing”.

What a credit buys

The rate card lays the spread bare, and the spread is the story:

JobCreditsOn Lite’s 400/monthOn Ultra’s 5,000/month
Image, GPT Image 2 or GPT Image 1.51400 images5,000 images
Image, Nano Banana 2 / Kling 3.0 / Wan 2.7 / Seedream 5.02200 images2,500 images

Video, Pollo 2.0 720P, per 5 seconds1040 clips500 clips
Video, Seedance 2.5 480P, per 5 seconds3013 clips166 clips

That is a 30× spread between the cheapest and most expensive way to spend one credit, and it explains the plan cards exactly: “up to 80 videos /month” is 400 ÷ 5, the cheapest video model on the page, and “up to 400 images /month” is 400 ÷ 1, GPT Image 2. Both are accurate and both are best cases — a buyer whose work needs Seedance 2.5 480P gets 13 clips a month, not 80. Because the rate card is published, that is checkable before you subscribe, which is why this is a criticism of the framing rather than of the arithmetic. The allowance also does not survive the cycle: on Lite up to 400 credits a month expire, on Ultra up to 5,000.

“Unlimited” means four conditions

Several models are labelled “365-DAY UNLIMITED” on the Lite and Pro cards and “10-DAY UNLIMITED” on Ultra, under a block headed “Unlimited & Free Gens”. The explainer page, updated 24 June 2026, gives a definition and then the boundaries:

“Pollo AI’s Unlimited mode means supported models can be used repeatedly without deducting available compute credits during the active rights period.”

“There is also no fixed upper limit on your total number of generations during the active period.”

“But these rights are not universal.”

The page’s own table then lists what the rights depend on:

Unlimited rightWhat it actually means
No credit deductionSupported Unlimited model generations do not use your compute credits
No fixed generation capYou can keep generating during the active rights period
Specific model accessUnlimited applies only to models marked with the Unlimited label
Specific parameter accessEligible resolution, duration and settings depend on the model and your plan
Subscription-based accessIf your subscription ends, downgrades, or is not renewed, Unlimited rights end too
Not speed-guaranteedUnlimited rights guarantee eligibility to generate, not ultra-fast processing

The pricing page’s footnote adds that unlimited usage “may be subject to dynamic speed adjustments during high-traffic periods”, and the FAQ, answering “Why isn’t my Unlimited Access working?”, says those benefits “may only be available with specific plans or promotions”. That last sentence has already cost customers something in public. In a r/generativeAI thread titled “Did PolloAI suddenly limit the 10-day Unlimited campaign?”, a customer reports that Seedance 2.0 at 1080p and 15 seconds stopped being available partway through, and posts the vendor’s reply quoted verbatim:

“After the event went offline on May 26th, the system experienced some glitches, with the resolution and duration limits no longer displayed. Subsequently, it was fixed, but purchasers after May 26th no longer have unlimited access to Seedance 2.0.”

“To compensate for your loss, we can add 5000 credits for you to use.”

That is a vendor stating in writing that the terms changed for people who had already bought in. It is one customer’s account with no screenshot and no second confirmation, recorded because the vendor’s own wording makes it plausible: it describes the Unlimited campaign as one that “features different models during different periods”. Reading the four conditions as the real terms and the badge as the advertisement is the whole point of that disclosure.

Public record

The independent record splits cleanly by subject: the product scores well, the billing generates the complaints.

Trustpilot: 5,480 reviews, TrustScore 4.3 (displayed as 4.5 stars), with 11% one-star, on a profile claimed since November 2024; Trustpilot records that the company has replied to 97% of negative reviews, typically within 24 hours, without recently inviting customers to review.

App Store: 4.47 from 12,973 ratings under COCOSOFT TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. The recent negative reviews are about credits rather than quality: a one-star of 13 September 2026 says “generating just ONE Story Video used 265 of my 300 monthly credits”, one of 24 September 2026 says the subscription “didn’t even finish my FIRST video before running out of credits”, and one of 18 September 2026 is titled “No Subscription Cancellation Button in a Smartphone App”. Those complaints are the refund and rollover rules as the buyer experiences them.

Reddit has real first-hand feedback here, which is not always the case in this category: a r/generativeAI question from a customer who had bought a month of Pro opens with the two things they found while researching — “Frequent complaints of persistent unwanted charges, even after subscription cancellation” and “I don’t like that they don’t take PayPal”. The most serious item is a single field report in r/FraudPrevention dated 9 October 2025 alleging unauthorised recurring charges and support abandonment; it carries 10 upvotes and four comments, none of which corroborates it. It is one uncorroborated account, recorded because the same themes recur independently — app reviewers not finding a cancellation button, and a Japanese consumer-affairs question about an annual ¥27,192 charge followed weeks later by a ¥61,678 one.

The alternatives, stated honestly

None of the tools below had their current prices verified for this review, so treat them as directions to check. SJinn sells generation by the credit with per-second pricing published — the closest comparison if you want a credit meter rather than a subscription. Panda Video is a hosting platform where the AI is a second meter, AI Studios is the script-to-digital-human factory, and Max Studio is the other credit-based studio reviewed here, with the same per-credit shape as Pollo AI’s.

How it scores

Features 4.5
Ease of use 4.0
Value for money 4.0
Support 3.0

Features is a 4.5. The catalogue is the product, and it is genuinely wide and genuinely behind one prompt box, with an Agent for ad-style videos, an MCP server, a CLI, a public API and real mobile apps. It loses half a point because “Access to all models” on a 400-credit plan is technically true and practically narrow: the dearest models consume a month’s allowance in minutes.

Ease of use is a 4. The interface is not the problem and the billing machinery is clearly documented once you find it — cancellation is a three-step path in the contract, the rate card is on the pricing page, and the vendor publishes its own definition of “unlimited”. What holds it there is how much decision-making sits in documents a buyer does not open: the refund gate is on a separate page, the real annual percentage has to be subtracted from a struck-through figure, and the credit-expiry rule is the answer to “Why did my credits disappear?”

Value is a 4. $0.03 a credit is a very good price for generative video, and every paid tier includes watermark-free output and real parallel task slots. It is not a 5 because the same 400 credits buy 13 clips on Seedance 2.5 480P rather than 80, the credits expire every month, and the cheapest way to test the paid tiers is a refund window that closes after 50 credits of use.

Support is a 3. Both halves are documented: Trustpilot records replies to 97% of negative reviews within about 24 hours, and a customer in the unlimited-campaign thread was offered 5,000 credits in compensation — against which refunds are discretionary and credit-gated, recent app reviewers report credits vanishing before a first video is finished and no cancellation button, and one uncorroborated field report alleges charges continuing after cancellation. Responsive support around a restrictive policy is still a 3.

The four scores average 3.875, which is why the overall rating is 3.9.

Common questions

How much is Pollo AI?

Lite is $12.00 a month billed yearly ($144.00/year) or $15.00 billed monthly, with 400 credits a month. Pro is $14.50 annually against $29.00 monthly, and Ultra $99.00 annually against $129.00 monthly. The free tier is 20 credits, once, with no card.

What is Pollo AI’s refund policy?

Refunds cover subscription credits only, within 3 days of purchase, and only if you have used 50 or fewer subscription credits — “regardless of the time since purchase”. Add-on packs are non-refundable in all cases, and an approved refund may carry a fee of up to 6%.

Do unused credits roll over?

No: “Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle. Your plan credits will reset at the start of each new billing cycle.” On Lite that is up to 400 credits a month; on Ultra, up to 5,000.

Is the annual discount really 50%?

Only on Pro. Lite saves 20.0% ($15.00 to $12.00), Pro saves 50.0% ($29.00 to $14.50) and Ultra saves 23.3% ($129.00 to $99.00). The “Up to 60% off” badge elsewhere on the page is attached to the “Access to Pollo MCP” feature row, not to the plans, and no tier gives bonus credits for paying yearly.

How many videos do I actually get?

It depends entirely on the model, and the vendor publishes the rates. On Lite’s 400 credits: 80 five-second clips on Pollo 2.5 720P (5 credits each), 40 on Pollo 2.0 720P (10 each) and 13 on Seedance 2.5 480P (30 each). The “up to 80 videos” on the card is the cheapest model on the page.

What does “unlimited” include?

Only models carrying the Unlimited label, only at the settings your plan supports, and only while the subscription is active and not downgraded — the vendor’s own table says “If your subscription ends, downgrades, or is not renewed, Unlimited rights end too”. It is explicitly “not speed-guaranteed”. A 10-day campaign was narrowed after purchase once, according to a customer’s quoted support email.

Can I cancel, and what does it cost?

Cancellation is free if you do it in time: avatar > Billing > Cancel Subscription, with service running to the end of the paid cycle. Miss the next billing date and that period’s charge is non-refundable, and there is no proration for unused time, mid-cycle cancellations or downgrades “under any circumstances”.

Do I own what I generate?

Yes — “You retain ownership of any content, including videos, text, images, or other materials, that you upload or generate using the Service.” But you also grant Pollo AI a licence to use it for “operating, improving, and promoting the Service”, and anything you publish to the platform’s public areas carries a perpetual, irrevocable licence that expressly covers “modifying, improving, and enhancing artificial intelligence models”. If you need clean, exclusive rights to a client’s output, do not make it public.

Bottom line

Pollo AI is a low-priced studio with a genuinely broad catalogue: $12.00 a month billed yearly for 400 credits, about $0.03 a credit, which on the cheapest video model is 80 five-second clips a month. The per-model rate card is printed on the pricing page, the plan cards’ headline counts are arithmetically honest, every paid tier includes watermark-free output, MCP access and real parallel task slots, some models carry genuine unlimited generation with the vendor publishing its own definition of the word, and the brand-side evidence is thick: Trustpilot 4.3 from 5,480 reviews with 97% of negative reviews answered, and 4.47 from 12,973 App Store ratings.

But it is sold on terms that are much easier to enter than to leave: a three-day refund window that ends after 50 credits of use, add-on packs that are never refundable, credits that expire monthly, a “50% OFF” toggle exact on one tier of three, and “unlimited” as four conditions the vendor itself documents. So do three things before you subscribe — buy monthly until you know it fits, price your actual model rather than the card, and read the refund page before you pay, because the number that matters there is 50.

Plan pricing and the per-model rate card are on the Pollo AI site. Prices, credit rates and contract wording above are a snapshot dated 28 September 2026, read from Pollo AI’s own pricing page, refund policy, Terms and Conditions, FAQ and unlimited explainer, and from the Trustpilot and Apple App Store public records; nothing here was supplied or checked by the vendor. Pros

  • The catalogue is real, named and wide: Kling 3.0, Sora 2, Veo 3, Seedance 2.5, MiniMax H3, Wan 3.0, Hailuo and Pollo 2.5 for video; GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana Pro, Seedream 5.0, Midjourney V8.2, Flux 2 Max, Grok Imagine, Qwen Image, Recraft v3 and Stable Diffusion 3 for images — all on one subscription, behind one interface, with "Access to all models" printed on the cheapest paid tier
  • The per-model credit rates are published on the pricing page instead of being buried in a help centre: 1 credit per image on GPT Image 2, 9 on Nano Banana Pro, 12 on Recraft v3; 5 credits per 5-second clip on Pollo 2.5 720P and 30 on Seedance 2.5 480P — so a buyer can compute a month before subscribing
  • The paid prices are genuinely low for what the credits buy. $12.00 a month billed yearly is about $0.03 per credit, and on the cheapest video model that is 80 five-second clips a month — roughly $0.15 a clip
  • The headline counts on the plan cards survive division: Lite advertises "up to 80 videos /month" and "up to 400 images /month" on 400 credits, and Pro's 160/800 and Ultra's 1,000/5,000 divide the same way, each quoted at the cheapest model of its kind
  • The free tier needs no card and costs nothing to try: 20 credits is enough for 4 clips on the cheapest video model or 20 images on GPT Image 2
  • Every paid tier includes watermark-free output, access to Pollo MCP, and a real number of parallel task slots: 2 on Lite, 3 on Pro, 6 on Ultra
  • Some models carry genuine unlimited generation rather than an allowance: GPT Image 1.5, Nano Banana and Grok Imagine Image are labelled "365-DAY UNLIMITED" on Lite and Pro, and Ultra adds five models as "10-DAY UNLIMITED"
  • The vendor publishes its own definition of "unlimited" — supported models "can be used repeatedly without deducting available compute credits during the active rights period", with four conditions listed — and marketing that can be checked is worth more than marketing that cannot
  • You keep ownership of what you generate, in plain words in section 5.1 of the current contract; the operator COCOSOFT TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. matches across the contract, the affiliate portal and the App Store; cancellation is a documented route in the contract (avatar > Billing > Cancel Subscription); and checkout accepts nine payment methods

Cons

  • The refund window is three days, and it ends once more than 50 subscription credits are used: on Lite, 50 credits is 12.5% of one month — two Seedance 2.5 480P clips at 30 credits each and it is gone. Add-on credit packs are never refundable, and an approved refund may be reduced by a fee of up to 6%
  • Unused plan credits never roll over — "your plan credits will reset at the start of each new billing cycle" — so on Lite up to 400 credits a month expire and on Ultra up to 5,000. If your work is bursty, you pay for the burst and lose the rest
  • The "50% OFF" annual badge is exact on one tier of three: Lite saves 20.0%, Pro 50.0% and Ultra 23.3%, no tier gives bonus credits (the annual allowance is exactly twelve times the monthly one), section 7.1 lets the vendor change fees on notice, and unused time is never prorated
  • "Unlimited" is four conditions rather than an allowance: labelled models only, eligible settings only, only while the subscription is live and not downgraded, and explicitly not speed-guaranteed. One 10-day campaign was narrowed after purchase, with the vendor's own support email confirming later buyers did not get what earlier ones did
  • The card's "80 videos" is the cheapest model's arithmetic: Seedance 2.5 480P costs 30 credits per five seconds, so Lite buys 13 clips. The contract also carries no governing-law, arbitration or venue clause and names no liability cap, and checkout does not accept PayPal
