Coefficient
Live Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite and Snowflake data inside Google Sheets and Excel, with two-way sync — free plan, then $49 a month billed annually.

Pros
- The connector list is the product and it is real: Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, Stripe, Shopify, Xero, PostgreSQL, MySQL, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads and more, all landing in Google Sheets or Excel rather than in another dashboard — with one-click connectors, 2-way sync that pushes sheet edits back to the source system, scheduled refresh, snapshots and Slack/email alerts on cell conditions, which turns a spreadsheet you already own into a work surface
- Integration with the spreadsheet is genuinely native, so there is nothing to roll out: Google or Microsoft SSO with no separate login, an add-on installed straight from the Workspace Marketplace or AppSource, and a Coefficient tab in the Excel ribbon
- The free plan is a real no-card test: 3 data sources and imports up to 5,000 rows, enough to prove your single most important connector works before any money moves
- The annual discount is exactly what it says. The toggle is labelled "Save 17% annually" and the arithmetic holds: $49 against $59 is 16.9%, $99 against $119 is 16.8%, and the pricing FAQ lists the same figure as "17% discount for paying upfront annually"
- The 30-day Pro trial is unusually clean: the full Pro plan, and if you do not choose a plan at the end your account "will automatically enter Coefficient's free plan" rather than being charged — §4.11 of the contract says the same thing
- The seat rule that costs the most money is disclosed, even if only in a FAQ answer: "Our Starter plan is for individual users. Organizations with more than one user must join our Pro plan." A buyer who reads the FAQ can price a whole team before paying
- What you get and where the limits sit are published as numbers rather than adjectives: a plan-by-plan comparison table gives data sources, import and export sizes, refresh and alert counts and accounts per source, paid tiers let the buyer choose monthly or annual billing, and cancellation is self-serve with service running to the end of the period already paid for
- The credentials are maintainable rather than one-off: Coefficient Works, Inc. is a Delaware corporation found under the same name and address in the contract, on the website and in the SEC's EDGAR system (Form D, CIK 0001946530, filed 13 January 2023 and signed by CEO Navneet Loiwal), with $6.7M of seed funding from Foundation Capital in October 2021 and an $18M Series A led by Battery Ventures announced 10 November 2022, and a SOC 2 Type 2 audit date of 31 October 2024 recorded by Microsoft's 365 App Certification
- The security claims are specific and checkable: the vendor states that "Data imports using our Data Connectors are never stored on our servers", with Cloud Datasets the opt-in exception that "can be turned off using Admin Controls", and that credentials including OAuth tokens, API keys and passwords are encrypted end-to-end
- The independent review corpus on G2 is large and lopsided in the vendor's favour: 4.7 out of 5 from 202 reviews, with 166 five-star, 34 four-star, 2 three-star and no one- or two-star reviews at all. G2's own AI summary of the corpus names "ease of use" (attributing 72 mentions to it) and "seamless integration" first, and the tool works inside the spreadsheet your team already opens every day
Cons
- Starter is one seat and cannot be multiplied — "Organizations with more than one user must join our Pro plan." So the entry price for two people is Pro at $99 per user per month ($198 a month billed annually), not the $49 on the card, and five seats is the Pro ceiling before a sixth person needs an Enterprise quote. The arithmetic lives in one table row and one FAQ answer, and you do the multiplication
- No plan is refundable: §4.7 reads "all fees and payment are non-refundable and non-transferable except as required by law". There is no three-day window, no fourteen-day window and no discretionary refund policy anywhere on the site — so buy a year for a workflow you have already tested on the trial
- Cancelling does not end the term you are in: §4.4 makes "any fees due for the remainder of the current Subscription Term must be paid immediately upon cancellation", and fees already paid stay paid. Cancelling stops the next renewal, not the current period
- The 30-day Pro trial is the only exit and it has a qualification rule: §4.11 says it may be used once, only "if you have not already used the Services", and the vendor may withdraw it at any time. Spending a month on the free plan first can consume it
- The AI agents' usage and price are not documented: the plan table prices export runs, refresh counts, alert quotas and accounts per source, but gives the Import, API, Browser, Dashboard and Monitoring agents and the Sheets Assistant no row, no limit and no price, while the FAQ still sells the free plan on "10,000 OpenAI API calls" and "GPT Copilot", a name the plan table no longer lists. Ask support in writing before you sign
- The pricing page opens on the annual price: the cards read $49 and $99 per user/month with the word "annually" nowhere beside them, and the monthly view is where $59 and $119 appear. The 17% is real — so this is a case of switching the toggle rather than believing the badge
Score breakdown
Pricing
Free
$0 no card required; one user; the pricing page opens the billing toggle on Annual rather than Monthly
- 3 data sources on the Standard connector tier, imports up to 5,000 rows, 50 refreshes a month, 50 export runs a month and 30 alerts a month
- No automation at all: the Auto Data Refresh and Auto Data Export rows are both em dashes on this tier, so every refresh is manual
- Exports are capped at 100 rows and only work on Salesforce and SQL connectors (pricing FAQ), and the pricing FAQ states that "Automations, such as automatic data refreshes and Slack and email alerts, require a paid plan" — while the comparison table on the same page grants Free 30 alerts a month under a row labelled "Slack & Email Alerts"
- The pricing FAQ also still advertises "10,000 OpenAI API calls" and "GPT Copilot" on the Free plan; neither appears anywhere in the current plan table
- Support row shows a tick under "Support Channel" but an em dash under "Help Center Access" — the free plan is denied the help centre and granted a support channel
Starter
$49 per month billed annually ($59 billed monthly); one user only, and the pricing FAQ says so outright: "Our Starter plan is for individual users. Organizations with more than one user must join our Pro plan."
- One seat. There is no way to buy a second Starter user: the users row reads 1 for both Free and Starter, and multi-user organisations are told to move to Pro, where the price is per user
- Still 3 data sources and still 5,000-row imports — identical to Free on both rows; the paid step up buys 500 refreshes a month instead of 50, daily automatic refresh, data snapshots, and exports of 500 rows rather than 100
- Unlocks the SQL, Chart & Pivot Builders row, which is an em dash on Free and a tick from Starter upward
- "Up to 50% off for the first year for startups" is the discount that applies here, for companies that have raised $20 million or less, are bootstrapped, angel-, debt-, pre-seed-, seed- or series A-funded, and have 25 or fewer full-time employees
Pro
$99 per user per month billed annually ($119 per user per month billed monthly); the users row reads "Billed per user (max 5)", so Pro is a per-seat plan that stops at five seats
- The only tier where imports become unlimited and exports become unlimited; refreshes rise to 5,000 a month and automatic refresh runs hourly rather than daily
- Two seats on Pro cost $198 a month billed annually and $238 billed monthly; five seats cost $495 and $595. The headline on the card is per user, not per plan
- Brings the collaboration rows that a team actually needs: Shared Connections, Shared Import Templates, Dynamic Recipients, and 3 accounts per source instead of 1
- A 30-day free trial of Pro is the documented way to try this tier, and the pricing FAQ says that if you do not choose a plan at the end of it you "will automatically enter Coefficient's free plan" — no card is charged automatically
- Support channel becomes "Priority Chat, Email"
Enterprise
Custom quoted; carries the volume discount mentioned in the pricing FAQ
- The tier that lifts the five-user cap: the users row reads Custom rather than "max 5"
- The only tier with Custom SSO, Admin Controls, Consolidated Billing, Security Review & MSA — the four Collaboration & Admin rows that are em dashes everywhere below it — and Support Channel "Dedicated"
- Data sources become Custom and the connector tier becomes Standard + Premium; everything already unlimited below stays unlimited
Who it is for
- Solo analysts and RevOps or finance people who want live Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, QuickBooks or warehouse data in a spreadsheet they already own — one seat, billed monthly until it proves itself
- Teams of two to five that have accepted the Pro price per seat, because that is the only route past the single-seat Starter plan and it brings shared connections and shared import templates with it
- Buyers who want the spreadsheet to stay the interface: Google Sheets or Excel, Google or Microsoft SSO, no second login and no new BI tool to roll out
- Anyone whose priority is that their imported data is not warehoused by the vendor — the security page states imports "are never stored on our servers", with Cloud Datasets the opt-in exception
- Companies that qualify for the startup discount: $20M or less raised, at pre-seed to series A, 25 or fewer full-time employees, up to 50% off the first year
- Non-profits, which the pricing FAQ lists as a separate discounted category
- Buyers who want to test before paying: 30 days of the full Pro plan with no card charged at the end and an automatic fallback to the free plan
- Buyers whose procurement or legal team needs paperwork that holds up: the company names itself in the contract and in the SEC's filing system, the SOC 2 Type 2 record carries a date and comes from a third party, and paid tiers are self-serve to cancel
